For those of us who knew him, Bhante occupied a central role in our lives. Friend, sage, teacher and lover of life and humanity he showed us, by his example, how to Be. The lessons learned from him have shaped the course of our lives and inspired us to love and compassion in all our interactions to the best of our ability.
